Winemar Kroos was a Touched man whose turn allowed him to generate bullets from his right arm.[1]

Biography

Kroos accompanies Maladie and Bonfire during their attack at the opera. He fires into the crowd under Maladie's command, shooting Dr. Beldon and his wife, among others. As the audience scatters, Mary Brighton begins to sing and her voice garners the attention of all of the Touched present, including Kroos.[2]

Maladie captures Mary and scurries out the back of the stage with Bonfire, while Kroos stays behind. Amalia True fights him and detaches the weapon from his arm.[2] He's taken by the police.[3]

Kroos is soon freed from his cell. He gets his weapon back and uses it against Mary, shooting her repeatedly, killing her when she sings in Candlemas Park. Kroos's bullets don't hit anyone else except Frank Mundi in the shoulder. The detective shoots back and hits Kroos in the right eye.[1]

With Kroos dead, Amalia, Annie, Penance Adair investigate some of the suspects for freeing Kroos and ordering him to murder Mary.[4]
