Kiran Sonia Sawar is an actress who portrays Harriet Kaur on The Nevers television series.

Career

Sawar attended the University of St Andrews where she received a degree in Marine and Environmental Biology. After graduating, she trained in acting at the Oxford School of Drama, where she left in 2012.

Sawar made her acting debut in theater before landing her first television role in 2015, in the television series Pure. She garnered critical acclaim for her role as the protagonist in the BBC television drama Murdered by My Father. She portrayed Cordelia in the 2016 stage adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's novel Brideshead Revisited. In 2017, Sawar appeared in "Crocodile", an episode of the anthology series Black Mirror, for which she was BAFTA Scotland nominated for Best Actress (television).

The Nevers

Sawar portrays Harriet Kaur in all the six episodes of the first part of season 1.

She also participates in the featurettes "Confrontation and Translation" and "Shock and Awe."
