Gemma Jackson is a production designer on The Nevers television series.
Career
Jackson is best known for being the original designer and creator for Game of Thrones. She designed the first three seasons and won a Primetime Emmy for season 2. Most recently, she designed the sets for Disney's Aladdin (2019).
Among her other work is the miniseries John Adams (2008), for which she won a Primetime Emmy; the television series Fortitude (2015–2018), for which she was nominated for a BAFTA; the film Finding Neverland (2004), for which she was nominated for both an Academy Award and a BAFTA; King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017); Bridget Jones Diary (2001); Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason (2004); Iris (2001); State and Main (2000); The Borrowers (1997); Death Defying Acts (2007), for which she received an Australian Film Award; and many more.
Jackson has been awarded several ADG awards, and received a Lifetime Achievement award from the BFDG in 2018.
The Nevers
Jackson is credited as production designer for all the six episodes of the first part of season 1.
She also participates in the featurette "Creating The Nevers: Shock and Awe."
