Ben Chaplin is an actor who portrays Detective Frank Mundi on The Nevers television series.


Chaplin had small roles in films such as The Remains of the Day and Feast of July, being critically praised for his role on stage in The Glass Menagerie. In 1995, he played Matthew Malone in the first series of sitcom Game On. He went on to be cast in larger film productions such as The Truth About Cats and Dogs, Chromophobia, and Two Weeks. He also had supporting roles in the films Water Horse: Legend of the Deep, Dorian Gray, and Cinderella.

Chaplin received a Tony Award nomination for his role in the play The Retreat from Moscow.
